The irony of Second Life.

Ubuntu Logo

Mark Shuttleworth, the man behind one of Linux's most popular distros (Ubuntu), today commended Catharina Bethlehem regarding her work for the Ubuntu community within Second Life. I find this quite ironic seeing that in order to connect to the second life community she is probably using a Microsoft Operating system.

I don't believe that their exists an up-to-date Linux client although www.getDeb.net has packages however as the second life client updates every week or so then old versions cannot connect to the network. Perhaps this would be an awesome open-source project for some aspiring engineer in university?
